Scrip Programs

The troop currently offers two scrip programs. You can (should!) use these programs to earn money in your own Scout's accounts, to pay for rechartering, Summer Camp, optional outings, etc.

The first program is Gift Cents. To get Gift Cents coupons, fill out the order form available in Microsoft Word or PDF format, and give to Genelle Curtis at a parent meeting. The turn around time for orders is about 3 weeks from turning in the form to receipt of the cards. Read more about Gift Cents on their web site, and see the bottom of this page for changes in coupon availability in August 2007.

The second program is eScrip:

As of September 1, 2007, Amazon.com will be similar to gift cards (not paper), and they will not expire.  Any gift certificates showing expiration dates (not expired as of Sept. 1, 2007) will automatically convert to no expiration.

$50 @ 7% Includes Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality Inn, Clarion, and MainStay Suites.  No expiration.

Denny’s

$10 @ 5% American’s largest full-service family restaurant chain, emphasizing quality food, good value, and friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere.  No expiration.

Dunkin’ Donuts

$10 @ 3% Good at all Dunkin’ Donuts stores, no expiration.

EXPRESS

$25 @ 7% No expiration; redeemable at all locations as well as Express for Men.  Cannot be used to pay charge account balances.

Fashion Bug

$25 @ 6%  Fashionable apparel in plus, misses, maternity, junior and girls sizes, as well as accessories and footwear, value-priced between discount stores and moderate department stores. Also good at fashionbug.com.  No expiration, no dormancy fees.

iTunes

$25 @ 3% No expiration, no dormancy fees; online purchases only.

Kay Jewelers

$100 @ 7% Good at stores and online at Kay.com; no expiration.

Kohl’s

$25 @ 3% No expiration; cannot be used as payment on Kohl’s charge.

$25 @ 7% Fashionable women’s footwear, clothing and accessories at over 400 retail and outlet stores.  No expiration or dormancy fees. Not good for online purchases.

$25 @ 7% Good at participation Pier 1 Imports and Pier 1 Kids stores; no expiration date.
