Field Gleaning Service Project

Date: Saturday, February 9th
Time: Meet at 12:45pm at the field, work from 1-3pm

This is a troop sponsored service project. We will meet at the Incredible Edible Park in Irvine to glean (pick vegetables) which will go to help the Second Harvest Food Bank help feed people that are having tough financial times. This is good to activity to participate in because all scouts need service hours for advancement, you are helping others, and working the fields is good exercise.

For more information, see the following documents:

Note that all attendees must be covered by a Release of Liability form (either the family one or for Scouts attending without a parent, the minor one), and in addition, all Troop 615 Scouts must have a troop permission slip.

Scouts should wear their class 'B' uniforms and old shoes or boots, since the field may be muddy.

If you have any questions, or want to sign up at the last minute, contact John Purcell.
